TAKE66 SOFTWARE / PRODUCTS / SLEEPY FLOYD BARGAIN HUNTER

Gold coin in a hunter’s sight

Sleepy Floyd Bargain Hunter.

Find your next collectible

Automatically search for affordable, uncollected appearances from armor and weapons your current class can equip, unknown toys, mounts and pets, and unlearned recipes for your character’s professions and specialties. Set Max gold (up to 9,999,999) and choose a minimum rarity on the single controls row, then click Start Scan.

Choose categories with the checkboxes. Mounts, toys, pets and recipes are searched before appearances; preferred armor and weapons come before other equippable types. Results show gold price, item type, and icon/name, using WoW rarity colors. Click a result to pause and review its auctions, or click its type to select that category and its filters in the auction house. Resume Scan refreshes the current category and keeps your results. Changing categories, price or rarity clears the scan.

Details… explains your class, professions, specialties and search coverage. The timer and compact progress line track the scan. Hover an item’s icon or name for its tooltip while scanning. The addon never purchases anything automatically.

Download on CurseForge

Retail WoW on Windows or macOS. Automatically detects your class and professions; not for Classic. The ZIP includes installation instructions and a README.

  1. Quit World of Warcraft and extract the downloaded ZIP.
  2. Copy the AppearanceShopper folder into World of Warcraft/_retail_/Interface/AddOns/. Replace the old copy when updating. The internal folder name preserves existing settings.
  3. Start the game and enable Sleepy Floyd Bargain Hunter in AddOns. Type /sfbh or /sleepyfloyd.
  4. Open an auctioneer, choose your maximum item price and minimum rarity, then click Start Scan. Keep other auction searches idle while it runs.

Already installed? Replace the addon folder and use /reload. You can open it with the Bargain Hunter button above the auction house or /sfbh.

There are no item-group or page caps. Results must meet your character’s requirements, price limit and collection checks. Recipes respect learned professions and specialties, including Goblin/Gnomish Engineering. Pets are unowned species; cages above your collection’s highest pet level are excluded. Toys are searched in Miscellaneous and Consumables. Lighter armor can qualify when equippable and collectible, even if your class cannot transmog it.

Coverage: missing item or appearance data can exclude bargains. Unresolved groups are counted as Unverified; auction response failures are counted separately as Timeouts. A completed scan does not guarantee exhaustive coverage.

For a bug report, click Log… or use /sfbh log save to copy the latest local scan log. Logging is on by default unless you turn it off in Settings. Nothing is uploaded automatically. Visit the support page for troubleshooting and logging controls.
