TAKE66 SOFTWARE / PRODUCTS / MAIL SHEPHERD
Mail Shepherd.
Our mission
Mail Shepherd’s goal is to keep unwanted mail completely out of your mailbox by helping you quickly identify, block and delete it.
What it does
- Sweep checks every message in Junk and Trash: mail from blocked senders is marked read, and other junk is marked read and moved to Trash, where it’s marked junk. Mail from your Blocked Domains is handled in every Inbox, Junk and Trash; junk from your Allowed Domains goes back to your Inbox. Sweeps don’t use Mail’s window, so you can keep working.
- Review Blocked and Review Junk list those messages. Click one to see why it’s there, then delete it, move it to your Inbox, add the sender to Contacts, block the sender, or block the domain (exact, like mail.shop.example, or parent, like shop.example). Check several and delete them all at once.
- Blocked Senders lists everyone you’ve blocked, in Mail and in Mail Shepherd, and turns blocking on or off for a sender or their domain.
- Blocked Domains and Allowed Domains keep your domain lists, suggested from your blocked senders and your contacts.
- Auto-Sweep sweeps on a schedule while Mail Shepherd is open.
- Try it first with made-up mail: Help → Try Mail Shepherd with Sample Mail shows every page without touching Mail.
- Everything stays on your Mac, every action is in a local Action Log, and Mail Shepherd never asks for your email password.

Request the beta
The beta is by invitation. Tell us who you are, confirm your email address, and we’ll email you a personal download link once your request is approved.
Requires macOS 14 or later on a Mac with Apple silicon, and Apple Mail. Signed and notarized by Apple.
- Open the downloaded disk image and drag Mail Shepherd to Applications.

Privacy: we use your name and email only to review your request and send your download link, plus release news if you ask for it. To review requests we also note your approximate location (city, region and country) and browser type; your internet address itself isn’t stored, only a short one-way code of it that limits repeat requests. Nothing is shared or sold. To have your details removed, email mailshepherd-support@take66.ai. See the privacy policy.
