Review Junk.
Mail Shepherd 3.0 for the Mac App Store (build 535) · Updated October 24, 2026
Review Junk lists the rest of your junk: messages in Junk, and messages in Trash marked junk, that aren’t from a blocked sender or a Blocked Domain, and aren’t from one of your contacts or an Allowed Domain. After a Sweep, that’s mostly the junk it moved to Trash. Reading the list changes nothing in your mail. Each row has an eye with an orange triangle beside its first line, as the legend in the footer says.
It also lists mail in Junk that claims to be from a contact or an Allowed Domain but that a Sweep kept there, because iCloud didn’t authenticate it or it failed a spoof check. Look at its details before trusting it.
- The header has a checkbox that selects all or none, an age menu (All Ages, More Than 1 Day Old, More Than 3 Days Old or More Than 5 Days Old, each with its count), the account menu and Refresh.
- Click a row to see its details, where you can block its sender or domain, move it to the Inbox, or open Contacts to add the sender.
- The account menu, Refresh and Delete Selected work as on Review Blocked. Only messages that are still junk, and not from a blocked sender or domain, are acted on: those in Trash are deleted permanently, and those in Junk move to Trash.
A message shows on one Review page at most: once its sender or domain is blocked, it moves to Review Blocked. Both pages share one read of Junk and Trash.
Messages deleted from Trash are gone for good. See Deleting and Safety.
